I don't think we are that far behind most SL clubs, there are one or two exceptions like Saints and Wigan but we have brought through talent like Houghton and Briscoe in recent years and both are very highly rated players.

They've signed a 6ft 6in 18stone 16 year old Tongan on a 2 year deal who is an absolute monster.

I tend to agree with that, but the difference seems to be that other sides are willing to put their youngsters in the side when they have injuries, where we prefer to bring players in on loan.

True, we've got a few youngsters in ft training now they should come in when injuries hit.

Saints and Wigan maybe have that luxury? If Agar is under pressure he maybe does not want to rely on kids? Either way the Wigan kids did okay last night I felt.

Can you imagine the reaction if RA played a glut of kids and got mullered , jesus H Christ it would be a free for all...

The likes of Farrell, Tuson, Prescott etc all look very accomplished.

your not wrong paul, still cant help thinking i wish Tommy lee had turned out differently too, he had all the skills too didnt he but just never showed them often enough
