Rovers first try was from a Josh Hodgson ball-steal in the tackle. Missed by all.
That try from a kick was Eden knocking on.
Rovers fans shouting "fuuurrrrwuuuurrd" all game was so funny. They never stood onside and niggled in the tackle.
Not a bad gate for them, but I heard around 1500 were freebies?

And delighting in the clear and obvious Welham knock on for the Gardner try. Terrible reffing indeed. Four SL refs at the game and an officiating shambles from start to finish.
Time we had an option to switch off the ref's audio feed as well. Thaler's verbal diarrhoea is just another indication of how some referees think the game is more about them than anything else. |

And while we're at it, if the video ref must announce the try, as well have the word on the big screen, let's just have "Try to team A (etc)" and none of this "Try to Tommy Makinson, the ball was grounded and no one was offside" nonsense. The announcements are completely inconsistent anyway and totally unnecessary as you largely can't hear over the crowd noise.

Not to mention the odd expletive that can be heard and always has to be apologised for (which doesn't bother me but might others) ie Shaul at said match "You can't effing do that!!" which could be heard as plain as day! |

This was the game with a Groupon offer on. Better run it again otherwise it will be less than 7k again next match just like against Warrington  |
