Errr..Noble started as a no2 as well you know and Smith has a habit of buggering off...IF Gentle goes,id give him a bit longer to see what he can do when injurys clear up,id go for Anderson.

Smith hasn't won anything either , but I'd have him back here in a shout . We can afford him now.

Noble started as a no2, but went on to win loads of trophies, and instantly improved Crusaders with little money to spend in his last job. Smith famously has won nothing but has got teams to several finals (and i'd take being the bridesmaid at a major final instead of the dross we are having now!) I agree Anderson would be the best choice though, his Saints side played some fantastic rugby.

Anderson,he had. IMO the best Super League side I've seen at his disposal,it was hard to fook that up.

If Anderson ever decided to come to Hull , We'd need to completely rebuild the team .

Id take Sharp back in a heart beat. He was a good coach go back and look at the rugby we played under him. He had massive injury problems to deal with.

On paper, BEFORE the start if the season I said our signings were poor and those we did sign were over hyped and over rated!!

Agree, very average and no-one to fill Moa or Manu's spaces. The players brought in besides Ellis and DJ are average joe's who do not improve the side in any way. We even have one of them (Crookes) sitting on the sidelines he's that good!

I don't see how he's been a bad signing at all. He was playing well before injury. Since then Lineham's come in & done just as good, possibly better so no reason to take him out of the team. Should Lineham or Briscoe get injured he'll come back in the team & probably play well, if we hadn't signed him we'd probably just end up playing Whiting there again.

Yes because we're picking Lineham who looks very promising when going forward, but sadly lacking (along with Arundel) in defence. Rovers left side must have thought it was Christmas with the space they were given. I actually felt sorry for Lineham because he had to keep going infield to touch the ball, because it certainly wasn't coming along the line to him. Crookes must be worth a run because he was doing nothing wrong till his injury.

Even Holdsworth has a lot to prove... I'm not convinced. Without a proper partner he's average!! Every player we signed was from a team finishing below us in the bottom half last year!! Barring Ellis obviously!!
