Green Man and Torch are okay as long as you don't actually want to drink !



The queues for getting served are horrendous. Waste of time going to either in the past unless you get there for opening and have a quick drink.



Going to have a beer in London itself, probably in Hornimans just down from Tower Bridge, and next to the Shard, then tube straight from London Bridge to Wembley.

In fact, that area has loads of pubs - there is the Market Porter (opens at 6:30am for breakfast and beer), The Anchor and The Rake which has loads of guest beers and stacks of others. Best place to head for for riverside drinking, and tube straight to Wembley.



Don't waste time in the tourist traps north of the river !

Depends whether you're after atmosphere as well (as in singing and banter with fellow RL fans), can't speak for the Torch as not been in there but The Green Man has massive outdoor beer garden, we've never found it that bad getting served (albeit usually have a 3 pronged attack to get served at the inside bar) but if the weather is fair then they usually have an outdoor bar running as well, get a double round in sorted! Personally 2-3 pints will do me pre-match as want to enjoy / remember the game. the heavy session win or lose will come afterwards

Is Green Man close to Torch?



Would i be pi55ing in the wind to think that getting there about 11am to get some food would be ok??

Early weather forecast seems to be good. It is going to cool down initially, but it's supposed to warm up later next week. Depending on which forecast you look at its going to be between 22-27 degrees. Would be nice to get the shorts on

It would be very fortunate to get served food at a table any time after 12 noon





2008, I think The Green Man has a BBQ in the beer garden. That being said, its was boiling hot that day. Not sure if it rains.

Going on postcodes in Route Planner they are 0.8 miles apart (but at least 2 other pubs between the two), that said if your wife is 8 months pregnant I don't think I'd be risking either! I'd take her somewhere nice and quiet give her a better chance of getting through the match without any problems

I'll mainly be using The Angel, Islington. I have saved my wetherspoons vouchers especially!

Staying Paddington/Hyde Park area with my lad.



Brekkies up at our hotel and friend stay Premiere inn Wembley, so heading up there for pre match pis sump



Post match I will have to play that one by ear.
