I don't get this it'll remove the chavs from the so called chav corner. What's to stop them buying their passes there?

I'm sure no non chavs will want to sit there and be intimidated by the away chavs.

The fact they will have a designated seat makes it easier to identify who they are and ban them.

If it's for the greater good so be it. Means long distance travellers like me can't sit with their folks on a match day, which is a shame, but there you go.

Im just wondering how the stewards are going to be able to make sure every single person in the east stand are sat in there designated seats and not moving about?

Because then they would be sitting in someone elses seat?

That's the general idea yeah. As the East Stand sold out a few times last season then I'd imagine very few seats will be "empty". Why would the stewards have to make sure your in the right seat anyway? If you have a reserved seat what kind of cretin wouldn't sit in it?



Actually does this mean the end of pay on the turnstyle for the East Stand? Surely you will have to buy a ticket with a seat number on it?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but couldn't the club just make the north east side reserved and leave the south east unreserved?

Well if a seat is going to be used as evidence against a culprit,it would be a good idea if the right person was sat in it.

I've got a season pass and only attended about 5 games last season.

Ok someone I know used the pass sometimes when I was away, othertimes no one did. Hence empty seat.

That brings me onto another point. If there are any left over vouchers, where will you get a spare ticket for.Whoever you take won't be able to sit with you.

Assuming that they find an empty seat to sit in the people sat around them will soon know if they regularly sit there or not. Besides which the imbeciles very rarely knock about in 1s or 2s which will make it even more difficult to find empty seats together. Regardless of that, anyone causing trouble now is going to pretty much have to buy a season pass and run the risk of having it taken off them. It also makes it more difficult for groups to congregate together unless they all go buy their passes at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that they are not intelligent or organised enough to arrange a block purchase of season tickets.
