Just shows what aspirations we have on the international front. Hope Agar gets it. Although the players he has brought in are the good, decent signings, I don't think he can cut it in the long term, which is a shame. Would probably be best for both parties if he moved on.

Unfortunately, yes. Most of the Super League coaches are Aussies or Kiwis. The few English coaches (other than the 3 mentioned above) have already had a go at it or wouldn't leave their current positions to take the England job full time.
Football went the same way years ago. Where's the next (English) England manager coming from? |

Rich has turned down the england job stating he has unfinished work at hull fc.You must admire him for his loyalty coz the easy option would be to walk away and take the england job.Apparently Hull FC are offering an extension to Richs contract knowing that the rfl is sniffing arout.
You guys are so lucky to have the elite coach of the british game.

| McBanana, McDermott or Agar ??? Is that as good as it gets ??? All three of them are seriously shafting their respective club's chances of any short/medium term on-field success and they are the "elite front runners".
At least one of them will be sacked within the next month or so, so why not wait and save all the time and effort that would be invested into the interview process 
Personally, I couldn't give a flying fook about England, GB or whatever else you want to call our international team. |
