Played well today, looks like a good signing. Still wouldn't have him in front of Hall or Yeaman (yet) though. I'd play him at six next week. Maybe give Tom Briscoe a go in the centres.

We have enough players battling it out for the centre spots as it is without adding another one to the mix. Keep Briscoe on the wing.

Why not ? Always good to have options and could give J. Briscoe, Tuffour or Lyne a chance to get some game time.

We have enough options already. They can still be given a chance, but that doesn't mean Briscoe should move to centre.

I thought Jordan Turner looks to have the makings of a real classy player based on todays performance, always involved looked dangerous with the ball and solid defence as well. I'm looking forward to seeing this lad in a black and white FC shirt for many seasons to come.



As to Craig Hall.............Jesus what does the guy have to do to get some credit around here? He was solid in defence today and he does look to have bulked up alot more, we know he has pace and when given the ball today he did everything asked of him, his pass out to Tom Briscoe was superb. He has to be there or there abouts for me, and not the sort of player you want to be discarding, nevermind just after a fooking start of the season friendly. For me, it is clear he is a confidence player, knock it and he'll suffer, support him and he'll get through it, he has all the necessary skills to be a first class centre at this level, we'd be mad to let him go (not that I think we will).

id like to see horney at fullback and play tansey at 6,think he would work better at 6 with his pace.

I agree he's a soft tackler but i can only remember him missing 1 today and TBF Rovers targetted him from the start. Needs more protection out there IMO. Briscoe, Hall, Manu and Long is a soft side for us defensively. We should move Fitz to 2nd row and move Manu over to the right.
