Nope, we'll just have a excellent back row.

I can see the front row option but 4 doesn't go into 3 and with Ellis, Manu and Westerman being the preferred back row option it leaves Tickle to be either a spell bench player or not in the 17 at all and as I say an expensive back up.
Just a question, no ulterior motive in it.

| No but clubs always have 4 back rowers in their 17.
Some on here would move Tickle to prop, Manu to centre, Westerman to 5/8 or Ellis to prop or centre.
I wouldn't, it's not like their all going to play every game anyway.

Why should it.......personally think Manu off the bench will be destructive as teams tire or Westerman could be the odd 1 out as he was coming off the bench this season and,TbH,we havent missed him.

You do realise there is no law against having 4 quality back rowers. The chances of them all remaining injury free throughout a season is very slim. If all are fit then one will operate from the bench, this will probably be rotated as the season progress's. It's a great position to be in.

| Great news, very confident he will stay at FC
Will go down as a true legend of the FC super League era and remembered in similar ways to how the older of us remember Knocker, sterling, Kemble, Stone etc etc by future generations

| For the questions about where Tickle would fit in, I'd have him starting. Manu, Tickle, Ellis to start with Westerman on the bench. We haven't missed Westerman too much but he's a good player, and although all 4 of them are able to play the full 80 we would see the best from them all if we interchanged them correctly, keeping them all fresh throughout the season.
Also, it's unlikely that all 4 are going to go through a full season without an injury.
Some people are calling for Tickle to prop, Whiting on the bench, but I'm not as big a fan of this as I think that Tickle is very good out wide.

| I'm sure Manu will stay..... If ( and I doubt it ) this affects Tickle, then one thing is being overlooked - Tickle is an outstanding goal kicker. He has won matches with his kicking. Who will take over from him? Whiting does just about eveything else so maybe he would get the job. (If he gets a contract) I am sure both Manu and Tickle will stay for some time...
