I thought Silverwood was the new 'big match ref'....I know that Bentham's had both derbies at the KC this year, but Silverwood's been given the CC final, and the WCC.

Those who advocate two refs at each game may get their wish.
I've yet to see a match where Childs has been TJ, that he hasn't entered the field of play at some point. Usually to report a bolloxall incident.

Yet still fails to miss the constant offsides/forwards. He does seem to take at least one opportunity to shine for incidents that beggar belief. |

It just seems wrong to me that a coach can try to influence a game before a ball has been kicked. Surely the RFL should have something to say about his comments. The point I make is not about referees, it is about how a coach can influence a game before it starts. I am all for making the game more interesting with comments but this is a step too far in my opinion.
