I think we look better with berrigan in his natural position so how about, berrigan to 9, horne to 7 and whiting to 6. tansey to play fullback, hall in at centre and thorman to outer mongolia

I will take 17 Hull players (1st team squad or reserves) who will have pride in the shirt they wear , give 110% to the cause , put their bodies on the line for the club . Somewhere in this club we must be able to field 17 players with the above credentials. If that means dropping superstars and golden boys then so be it . Would rather watch the under 21's run out get slaughtered but give their all.

I wouldn't start Tansey, unless we don't get Hall back, then I'd put him at centre. If he's only been playing second grade recently, we aren't gonna wanna put him straight in. Plus Whiting has been sensational at FB and definitely deserves a run there. Would be madness to move him.

I dont see why people rave about Danny Houghton but its all opinions I suppose.

Spot on mate agree with that. Think Tommy Lee is very lucky to keep this place though.

i dont mean to offend but why does nobody understand the role tommy lee plays in the team. Most people who have played the game will notice and even a few that have not, he has been one of the better players this year and allows danny houghton to play the role he is very good at. give the lad a break i think he is doing a good job.

Danny Houghton is a cracking player, I can't speak highly enough of him, however, much the same as Roby at Saints, he isn't an 80 minute player and won't have nearly the same effect if he started games. Lee is a solid player, he defends very well, gives good service from dummy half and is a decent kicker. That is what you want from a hooker who is starting the game. Houghton then comes on and runs at tired defences and takes the glory for what Lee has done before him. The two of them make a good partnership imo and I would use them in that way next year and make Berro the world class centre that we have been looking for.
