| Quote carl_spackler="carl_spackler"What sort of nonsense is that about it possibly costing Sandercock his job? Neil, you're the man who makes that decision you moron, so if you feel he's been hard done to by events out of his control, don't get rid of him because of them.'"
I too thought his comments about Sandercock's future were illogical and stupid (not the first time since the weekend either) seeing as Hudge' has Sandy's future in his hands

| Quote barham red="barham red"I love this 'cup final' stuff you lot trot out to make yourselves feel better when the reality is generally we face teams who can attack therefore struggle to defend against it. We dont raise our game any more than we did against wire or saints. If you think our chairman is undignified that is your call, I struggle to see how any man could have done more for a club than he has.
I kind of understand how you like to win a magic game like this, I personally didn't want to win last years controversially but then again we had a fair few of these under our belts anyway. No doubts this will only add spice to the other game this year. So enjoy your cup final win, wear your commemorative shirts and celebrate as you would any other game,'"
The statement from HN is typically undignified, but its hardly a shock that is it. If, as he says, he is going to take it on the chin, he should learn to shut TFU. But he can't as he is just like a spoilt child.
As for cup finals, I am hope Hull are in one in August. rovers raise their standard levels of performance just because its Hull FC. Hull FC clearly don't as for the last 2 derbies we have been off our standard pace.
Last minute, come from behind wins will usually get celebrated in an exaggerated fashion.
You call it a commemorative shirt, I call it a marketing master class. Perhaps rovers should try it, afterall the good DR is wanting his money back soon

You have to feel sorry for them, most of their "fans" don't remember the true Craven Park, they don't remember Max Gold and his mates squandering all the money from the sale of the site, they don't remember how much the carpet in the boardroom cost, they've never even been to Wembley (new or old).
There are some great KR supporters, true "shirt off their back" friends if you needed them, but unfortunately the likes of Mr Forsyth don't accurately represent them, Easty is about the best of the online ones, and rover49 is a good egg too.
I see they're giving muddynuts another year or two, got to cut your cloth to your budget I guess, I'll take a well balanced team with Miller yet to come in, an owner with pockets as deep as his passion and a youth setup that rivals just about any other club over a half finished, part funded ground and less than 8k average attendance. Wembley win, who cares, Old Trafford appearance beats it, as does beating Saints at Huddersfield and the minor victory against L**ds in Cardiff.

Talk about living in the past! The only person that's coming across as bitter on here is you Brucie.

I have some close friends that are KR supporters and won't say a bad word against them (aside from the fact they support Rovers ) and from what I've seen from my time on here there's a lot of KR supporters that make valid and insightful comments on things. Unfortunately Mr Forsyth is one of the exceptions.
FWIW, I thought Rovers were unlucky on Saturday and that the best team lost. Green's try shouldn't have been given but it was and I'll take the two points (I've said on another thread that I thought Yeamo's try was a 50/50 call). I'd rather we win games outright rather than due to a controversial decision although I am enjoying some of the reactions I've seen on the likes of Facebook! I will take this one as karma setting things right after last years forward pass. Yes, that try last year didn't win KR the game but it put them in a position to win the game with their last minute try. Had Ganson or his linesman done their job properly that try should have been disallowed and it should have been FC's ball. I doubt with the time left that Rovers would have scored the two tries they would have needed once they got the ball back. This year we got a form of revenge.
Shame it once again highlighted the poor state of refereeing in the game though.

Ganson is meant to be the best of them though, and having a total idiot like Sharp apologising explains why the game is where it is.
FatNamara as England coach
Ganson as head of officials
doesn't take a genius to see the game is it's own worst enemy

The fact that so few people know who they even are highlights the lack of accountability.
