Oh I'm not about to bin Crookes off after one bad performance. Unlike some on here. He did stink up the place though and was noticeably bad on a night when he had plenty of company. Possibly trying too hard I thought?

A 2 from 6 kick success rate is not acceptable in the modern game. Whatever else happened in the game the missed kicks were the reason we lost.

Although our goal kicking was indeed very poor, it was a contributory factor and not the sole reason for the loss.



We got sucked into playing the type of game Cas wanted to play, we lacked composure throughout the game and came up with a defensive performance that all 17 players should be ashamed of.

I don't know why you seam p-ssed of where a very strong at home and to add to that I don't think you lot understand the pressure a lot of your team are under you had 6 players born bred in Cas it is a massive thing some players can handle it like crooks some can not like Westerman but it is a bigger pressure to them than FC KR derby.

That's just bilge. Outscored Castleford 6 tries to 5. Missed 4 out of 6 goal attempts, conceded couple of really really soft tries, and wasted many chances.

No disrespect to Castleford but we play with a 5% attitude adjustment we win. That's why narked off

how come hull didn't defend like their lives depended on it, as they did against leeds?

Very entertaining game last night, second half inparticular.



A couple of points, a few FC fans earlier in this thread said Chase wasn't good enough to win the game on his own for Cas, ironically enough, he was on his own, as we only played 1 half back to play an extra forward to match FC in the pack, sound work by Powell and as it happens, Chase was (as he always is) instrumental when we win.



I thought Miller looked very promising for you guys, he will get better, showed some nice touches & a good turn of pace, I think we targeted him early doors. A bit strange for us to concede 6 tries but for the fan to be relatively happy with Cas' defence, but Hull have an ability to score from anywhere on the field. What more can be said about Crooks, unit. I genuinely thought Lineham had won it at the end, heard a roar from some of the fans in the PSE and immediately gipped! RL drama at its best.



Also, the biggest away following for a sky game at Cas I've seen from an away side for as long as I can remember. Like FC fans, travel in numbers, generate a good atmosphere, like to have fun and are proper RL fans. As disappointing as it is to lose to Cas, I think you'll bounce back, with Horne, Ellis & Briscoe to return, I think you'll be alright, top 5 & I'll be cheering you on for the cup (unless you get Sheffield!)
