| Quote Standee="Standee"nope, a 2.4 litre Nissan Pathfinder that does about 21 mpg. I would go on the train if I could, but that means Worcester to Birmingham, Birmingham to Sheffield, Sheffield to Hull, 4hrs 35 minutes quickest journey time, over £80 for the train ticket if I book in reasonable advance.
Believe me, if I lived in Hull I would go to every home game, I don't blame Hull for me being in Worcester (well, I don't blame Hull FC, I do blame the shoddy wages on offer in Hull [which are improving I hear), I do blame the club for the move to a Friday, Sunday I could do more easily, no time off work, go and see family before/after the game, make a day of it.'"
I see your point, I would like games on a Sunday for the purpose of our players been able to go on the lash once the Friday games over, as some go straight out, or even Saturday nights.

and there we highlight another issue, I don't think professional athelete's should be "on the lash" during the season, do you think Mo Farrah or Usain Bolt have a skinfull many times a year, look at Andy Murray, you don't get that miserable without being off the beer for too long!

I just don't understand them, to be good at any professional sport, then to go & abuse there body's, Paul Cooke would have been a miles better player if we hadn't have dragged him in crown on a Thursday night after training! Mind you he didn't take much persuading!

| Quote Standee="Standee"you've never required the assistance of a psychologist I take it, luck you.
AP promised a holistic approach, but looking at the coach staff, we just look cheap.'"
So what? There's an enormous difference between mental health issues and some of the guff these sports psychologists come up with anyway. Not having a intimate knowledge of Hull's training facilities, use of specialists, etc I can't comment on whether they are doing it on the cheap - but how much do you know?

I did wonder why someone who earns £400 a day is complaining about spending £85 in fuel.

I would figure that he stated £170 for his travel and £230/day for his wage to lose, still, driving a tank like that all this way on 60k /year seems crazy to me. I grumble that my Passat estate only get 45mpg & over the bridge it's 155 each way/185 if I don't.
But I agree that Friday games are a bane, given how the season has gone I'll only go to a game if it conincides with a visit.

| Liverpool went from 7th to champion contenders in one year! Ronnie has been working with him for years, over the years were he was the force in the game.
So what do you put that down to, coincidence?

Tbf I'm a big believer in in sports psychology, but Ronnie is probably the most gifted player snooker has ever had and could beat most guys if he played left handed (literally), and in Liverpools case Suarez has been in insane form all season and without him they may or may not have scraped a top 4 place.
