In the few U20 games which I've seen Jack play, he's always stood out and looked 'senior' to me, If he bulked up on top, do you think he would be useful from the bench as a short spell impact prop? You do have to question why we are not seeing these guys coming through into the first team. Is it due to them not been ready/good enough? are the club holding them back to allow time to physically develop? or is it simply due to us having a good run on the injury front? (  Fingers crossed no jinx's) |

Though i do agree that Aldous may not be big enough at the moment give him time to bulk up 1st, then im sure him and Bowden will make it at FC. Also as Hutchie pointed out Cox doesnt do enough graft at the moment to be ' anything'. He is dangerous when close to the line but goes missing when his team is on the back foot, not something i like in players TBH. |

All I am saying is there is a very clear ceiling to what Aldous and Bowden can achieve in the game because of their physical limitations.
For that reason, Cox and Green have more potential. You could even say the same about Pearce, though he has a long way to go!

Size is not everything just look at Pryce huge bloke still crap though. |

James Green has always been huge since under 8s, shame that he has also always been soft as 5hyte. I was quite suprised when I found out he was at Rovers tbh.
