| Stupid question maybe?
If everyone needs a ticket for this game why can't we only sell reserved seats and increase the capacity?

| If you buy tickets over the phone are they posted out or do you have to pick them up on game day?

I agree with the sentiment.
However in the past some of those who sit in unreserved seating have said they want to choose on the day were they sit and thats why they attend. Assumedly those who hold that opinion are happy to deprive 2,000 fans of tickets, but there you go.
Hull FC will sell unreserved tickets to unreserved season ticket holders, thus our capacity will be just over 23,000. Still an outstanding crowd if we achieve it - remember everybody has to pay and it's on Sky.

Normally you get both options. However I can see them suspending the posting options.
Could be a big queue on match day!

I would think they'll post them up to, say, Thursday.

Hopefully they'll add a guaranteed post option.

| One thing I'll say djlard (post on page 1 of the thread) is that you missed this line out from that website
"Note: The above play off plan is not yet confirmed by the RFL and Sky Sports."
So I've had three different sources and three different k.o. times told to me - 6.00, 6.15 (a player told me that one!) and 3.25. Doesn't make it easy to plan the weekend!!!

| Do Hull FC bank much from play-off games? I think I recall a comment that stated play-off gate money, after a certain amount, gets pooled and split amongst the RFL and the contesting clubs.

As far as I am aware the money is pooled and split, not sure how it works in all honesty, as I said on another thread, it really is unfair that Wigan v Leeds, Saint v Wire and FC v KR share their combined massive attendances with Textile Mills v Leeks!!!

I can understand why they keep the East and South unreserved as people have unreserved passes their (and therefore will expect it to remain unreserved for the playoffs)
but I never have understood why they make the North and West Upper unreserved, when they could potentially have another 1,000 tickets or so to sell by making them reserved.
Rule did say on the radio they were considering making the East and parts of the South reserved for next season though, due to high season ticket demand.

all gets pooled and allocated according to finishing position. I.e the lowest ranked team who goes out first gets the least, and the winners the most.
I think this concept is a bit outdated under the larger playoff system, and by making the clubs keep their own gate receipts it would make finishing 1-6th even more attactive, and would make teams promote the games better (last years playoff crowds were shocking)
I also don't agree with the system of making teams charge full price. Teams should be allowed to reduce prices if they feel necessary. Teams like ourselves, Wigan and Hudds have big grounds to fill and should be allowed to do ticket offers if they think it'd boost the gate.
