There's often a "conductor" in a singing section so I don't see that as a problem and of course everyone can join in, the singing section (eg Threepenny Stand at Boulevard, old Stretford End at Old Trafford, Kop at Anfield etc) start us off.

I've just accepted the change in noise since our move to the KC; it's not the Boulevard and the Threrpenny is sorely missed. Old Faithful is not sung with the same passion. I know today was only a friendly but the Robins made far more noise; in fact i thought the saddest aspect was our crowd hijacking their 'father's gun' chant just for ther last line.
I thinka singing section is a good idea ( or call it an Ultra section)

The threepenny is not missed - and that father's gun chant is moronic whoever sings it........... imho |

what about mean machine or something when there around the 20 help them drive to try line and if all on here do it then south and west will be singing with the east stand if u sing something near the try line then your singing at the right time and everyone knows when to sing

There were plenty of Rovers supporters sitting in the section where I sit that is usually full of pass holders (in the West Stand). When any singing started up they, surprisingly, did not join in. I know we don't do a lot of singing as a stand on matchdays but it will be much better when it's just FC supporters in that section. |

Atmosphere was pretty good for a pre-season friendly. Yes it was a derby but both sets of fans knew the result doesn't mean too much which showed from both sets of fans.
