Tickles me that he slagged off the rugby supporters of the city much to the delight of the footy fans and now he's turned on them!
I'm with whoever it was who mentioned the the CEO of The SMC should have no allegiance to either the football / rugby team.
Nothing against Duffen but the position he finds himself in, he could quite easily become another Lloyd and who can blame him?

Sorry to piddle on you chips ladies, but that Private Eye thing's been doing the rounds for many months and has been roundly put to bed even by the most rabid negative types. If you work with some City fans that are getting jumpy about it, they must be poorly informed or simply humouring you.
As for the rest of it, some of you really need to get help for ther chips on your shoulders. Why you can't be happy for the City of Hull to have a succesful football team and get on with following your own sport is lost on me. It smacks of envy.
Nice to see a few othes that have a more mature attitiude. Maybe they don't have to justify why the chose a football Club to follow that just happened to be in the top flight. Funny how people from Hull don't apply similar logic to follow Wigan or St Helens though isn't it?

Really......I think whats been around for many months is the wait for city to file accounts. Have they been put into accountants hands many months ago, or fairly recently?
The only thing I have against City personally, are the "new" rugby hating fans and your moronic chairman. |
