| Watching it back, some very good individual performances. Fonua and Michaels I thought were both excellent, particularly enjoyed Michaels' shot on Yaha forcing a knock on, but more generally his metres and footwork were very very good. And whilst the big guns like Taylor and Watts get the plaudits, I don't think they could do what they do without the contribution of Manu and Washy who do the basics so well. Good use and timing of Washy yesterday I thought, he was involved in a couple of crucial plays including fielding a difficult restart, and was great in closing down their attack in the closing stages.
A word on Sneyd's kicking too. Been brilliant lately, don't know what his success rate is but the difference at Cas and some key penalties yesterday to take the game away from them.

I make it 91 from 109 in the SL/Cup this year which is 83%. Much better than last season when his accuracy was around 70%.

Well done to players and coach and also to all the fans attending. A special person will not hear the roar of old faithful anymore.'"
Condolences are in order? then many of them. Unlike Baldy, you can always come back on here for a bit of banter/ abuse Keep smiling Bumpy. I lost my mum in sad circumstances (can there be happy ones ) in 2005 but she said FC would win the cup that year, the rest is a happy memory. Clouds and silver linings and no dramas unlike some. All the best Bumps.

| Hello Hullites,Since one of you has been on our website I thought I would reply as follows; 1 The score was wider than he game ,but you fully deserved to win;2 You ,like us , have embarked on a plan of "winning" rugby, which involves fewer tries-especially for your opponents- fewer unforced errors, less playing with your hearts and more with your brains, and to some less "entertainment". I was sick to death of watching my team losing an exciting tryfest and I do not care that we play a much more cautious -sensible would be a better word-style of rugby.Best wishes for the rest of the season, except when you are playing us.

| Watched it back today and changed my mind when being able to relax.thought we controlled game well and it was our backs that won it as much as forwards.the likes of fonua and talanoa just seemed to take some much energy out of them.with yeamo and michaels both having excellent games there was just no breathers for their defence .as the commentary said fonua looks like he's put on wrong shirt

| Having watched it back the most impressive thing for me was that we won so convincingly despite a lot of our main stars not really standing out. Shaul, Houghton, Ellis, Taylor, Watts, Tuimavave. None of them were poor as such, but they were outshone imo by the likes of Green, Bowden and Michaels. It just shows how formidable this squad is right across the board.
