He wasn't fit to play in the round of fixtures before selection, even if he is just about injury free he's not going to have his match fitness/sharpness back.



Picking an in form centre such as Atkins was the correct choice, not too sure about picking Ablett though, very average.

Goulding should be in, Cudjoe is a shocking call.



I'd also have put Farrell in the main squad, very good player.

Sky website is making a meal of Morley missing out, I don't recall reading great things about his performances this season, have I missed something?

I wonder who he see's as starting on the wing's. Do you think Charnley's just there as back up or might he be favoured given his try scoring this season?



Personally I don't rate Charnley that highly, he scores a lot because he is put through by an excellent Wigan attack. You don't get the feeling he can pull something special out of the bag like Briscoe and he's not a strong in defence/as good at finishing as Hall.

Why? One of the 3 or 4 best British centres in SL IMO, would love him at Hull. May not be in the best form, but still the sort of player who should be in and around the squad for the learning experience if nothing else. Still not too convinced by Goulding as a centre, personally.

I just don't rate and never have. I'm not sure I have ever seen him play well other than scoring a few tries when Hudds have won heavily. Goulding seems to be blossoming this season and showing plenty of skill.

Fair enough, but I disagree, I've always thought the opposite. Quick, strong, good footwork and hands, and usually a decent tackler. I actually think you could more justifiably level the accusation of scoring a few in heavy wins at Goulding TBH, he's largely benefitting from being in a dominant side ATM. I'd probably have Goulding in the squad because his form deserves it, but out of the 2 I still think Cudjoe has more ability.
