I've never really "got" Radford. Average to good workhorse, bit rude about the fans, more interested in his businesses. Oh well. Space on the cap is a good thing.

I would be happy with Radders, don't think he would take any rubbish from the players & also nice to keep a bit of continuity after all the changes

Would also add that last year he seemed below his best so Maybe the right time to move into coaching. Maybe this is where the Pitts rumour came from, a 5th prop?

Glad he's finishing as a player if true because he's not good enough anymore but not sure whether I would happy to see him as assistant after being mates with them and playing with them

Hasn't Radford been fairly successful with the amateur sides he's been coaching? I remember hearing bits and pieces, but not that much.



TBH, I'd prefer it if he chose playing OR coaching, and gave each his full focus, not both. However, if he does get the position I'll fully support him.

The Oz clubs, origin sides & national team seem to employ alot of former players in some kind of coaching capacity & it seems to work for them.

Only upside to this I can see is were replacing him with a younger player who is just as good and makes things easier next season has we"ll only need 1or 2 props now , instead of 3 or 4 as was the case a few weeks ago . That's if it's true about Pitts, and radders as assistant because I'd heard hay over the weekend .

I dont see why just because he has played with the team is a bad thing..hel no there games and he has always struck me as a person who gets respect from his peers..he has coaching experience and a bag of knowledge of the game....i would be happy with this if true..like some have said hes coming to the end of his career and is a player who will defo end up in coaching regardless imo....would certainly prefer this to chester/hay

Would be happy with it, but we would need another forward on an already low in numbers pack. Promote a U20 for me.
