Would certainly improve a lot of players learning from one of the best ball handlers in the game.

If you want him for that bring him in as a skills coach, dont just give him the job because hes a ex player.

Steve Folkes would be a better option for an ex FC player. Certainly worth looking at.

Not that I'm advocating Henjak, I don't know enough about the man as a coach, but I don't know how you can make such an over the top reaction, He was highly rated, it didn't work out for him at Brisbane but if he has certain qualities I wouldn't write his coaching career off just yet, some people can learn from there mistakes, Nathan Brown should have done better at the Dragons with what he had, but has done a decent job at Hudds. It's been said that he fell out with senior players, but look at the love Fitz, Longy Ogre etc have with Agar, having a "best mate" in charge isn't always the best option.

Couldn't give a crap if it's an ex-player. Why does that matter? Rob Powell wasn't even a player, let alone an ex-one, and look what he's doing down at Quins.



I'd either like to see a proven Aussie coach, or an untried Aussie assistant coach who's been working under a proven Aussie coach/coaches for some time (like Maguire). What I don't want to see is a proven failure of a coach (ie McNamara) or an untried assistant who has been working under a failure of a coach (ie Webster). I also don't want a proven lacklustre coach who will only sprawl out the same boring rugby.



We need someone that is going to overhaul the whole system and knows how to work the board. I'd rather our coach walked out on us if the board don't let him do his job properly than stay on as a yes-man, because at least we know what the problem is!

I don't disagree really, I'm just not sure it would be the massive disaster you think it would though, and I wouldn't write his career off so early.

True I just don't want us to be the place he does the rebuilding.

Imo he got the job so the broncos board could spite Bennett.
