| For me its the bowling that we are fairly good at. Our batting totals is our weak point despite the high scores in that second innings

I'm hoping Swann will have a better game at Adelaide, Anderson looks in impressive form, closely followed by Broad and Finn.

I agree. This is possibly the worst aussie bowling attack i've ever seen.

He's faster than Collingwood. Use 4 decent seamers and a spinner and England will win the series in a canter. Bresnan can bat decently and Collingwood isn't exactly pulling up trees in that department, besides England have a longer tail than the aussies so carrying Collingwood for his batting isn't necessary.

Not a chance that England will make any changes for the next Test, the line up is set in stone. If they were to make a change it would be Tremlett to come as they view him as being much better suited for the aussie wickets. The thing is Finn was the man most likely at risk and as he took 6 wickets he will be safe. The fact is not matter how many bowlers you have if the wicket is as flat as the Gabba was then it won't matter. Now if they want to shift the balance of the side and play with an extra bowler then Bresnan would be the one simply because of his batting. Collingwood would drop out and Prior would bat at 6 but that would be compensated by having Bresnan to bolster the lower order and also give us a genuine 5th bowler.
The pitch at Adelaide should be pretty flat and other than any moisture on day one for the first three days it will be a batsmen's paradise but on days 4 and 5 the wicket should start to turn and the cracks should widen and then having someone like Swann bowling could be crucial.
Last time we played at Adelaide - Eng 551 Aus 517 Eng 129 Aus 131-4 to win the game, Warne was the main man I believe in the 2nd inngs.
Toss could be crucial.

Whatever happened to Stuart Clark?

I agree whoever wins the toss will bat, a brave decision would be to bowl first and exploit the first day pitch and then bat on days 2 & 3 when the pitch is at it's best but no captain would be the brave/stupid.
He was constantly injured for around 18 months and came back during the last Ashes series in England but never got back to his best, plus he is around 33/34 now so guess he has been fazed out. On the aussies wickets he was the epitomy of line and length.

Be interesting who the aussies pick for this one. Bollinger was unlucky to miss out last time, but the guy who got his place (Siddel) was their best bowler albeit very average (hat-trick aside). Can see Bollinger in for Johnson maybe, though i'm not sure who else they can bring in and with Clark, North, Johnson and Hilfenhous out of sorts i think they'll struggle again.
I just cannot see past an England series win.

I think Johnson will be dropped, the media want a scapegoat and are gunning for him right now. They have two choices, either Bollinger or Harris, Harris is the quicker bowler but I think Bollinger will get the nod as I think he would have played in the first test had he not been injured.
It's hard to say really, we are still prone to the odd collapse and the aussies have a huge fighting spirit, they were 143-5 remember and scored 481. I think it couild be a drawn series but either way think we will retain the Ashes.
