The Rovers board at the time did not want to move from East Hull and their supporter base was small and they worried about the size of the Stadium well thats what they said when they turned it down anyway! It would have worked but the RL would have had to make sure that one team was home one week the other the next! We are often at home when City are but we get round it!

Mike Joyce would be better channelling his time and energy into trying to get more support to Craven Park and getting the money for stadium improvements that way. The Council are not going to fund any improvements from public money, not now 8,000 Council workers have been offered voluntary redundancy, my husband being one of them.
