thought silverwood was disgraceful towards hame, he gave the gipsies open season on him, although hame should have risen above it, there is only so much the guy can take, players shouldn't be victimised by referees, even if agar contacted scummings we all know he will do feck all about it as his refs are untouchable

In a way its a good thing!! it just shows that they know they cant compete like last year.

Although I agree Rovers got away with a bit on Lauaki he was also not helping himself. Three times he hit out and you just can't do that. Agar did the right thing taking him off and keeping him off, he needs to learn not to get wound up so easily as we could have done with him in the second half.

I'm thinking Clitty Newton is lucky to still have a head. He deserved to have it knocked off by Lauaki after the 'facials' the cheating barsteward was dishing out on the big fella. Thought Agar did right to take him off....but was hoping hw would be back on for the last ten minutes!!!

Longy copped a few 'naughty late ones' too.....Murell being the most guilty against his superior on this occasion!

All in all though......A good old fashioned Derby with the right result.

Silverwood is a complete clown and his "refereeing" of Lauaki was shocking. He had an elbow in the face, a cheap late punch in the tackle and then Newton's head/grapple and he gave away three penalties !!

Although Silerwood didnt help him, he didnt help himself, a lot of teams will target him, he needs to control his agression, as it is proving too costly for the team.



Thought Silerwood had a good game, missed a couple of things for both teams but got most things right.
