I’d have to disagree. Having watched our pack surrender virtually every battle over the last two seasons I don’t think a bit of biff will do us any harm at all. It might cost us one or two penalties and the odd suspension but it will be worth it in the long run, let’s go back to tradition and have a pack to be scared of! |

I think a bit of biff is what has been lacking in the Hull ranks for a while and have been a bit of a soft touch. He also seems professional enough to actually do some homework on the opposition and know what to expect etc. Reading the article the HDM have sensationalised the piece (oh what a suprise) with the headline. Apart from that an honest insight from a guy who is chomping at the bit to get stuck in.
Hopefully this season we will see a Hull pack disciplined with plenty of controlled aggression for the 80 minutes to lay the platform for the backs with the opposition not looking forward to playing 80 minutes against us.
What was interesting for me in the game against Rovers was on a number of occasions O'Meley looked for Dobson towards the end of their sets and got into a position to face him and pressure him when he received the ball which we haven't done to an opposing threat for as long as I can remember as we normally gave them time and space to kill us.
Cant wait for Saturday
