It's not just you. We have no satelite signal and couldn't watch our recorded stuff either until about 10 minutes ago when it decided to play ball...still not got a signal though!

I think I remember this happening to me once a few years ago. Its a software problem rather than a Sky restriction, as I say, try sorting it out via the Service Engineer menu, providing of course you have tried the oldest trick in the book first, killing the power to it.

nothing thats been recorded with sky+ is working due to lack of signal for me here aswell

Did that a couple of times and it worked evenually.



I'm loath to play with any service menus at the moment as I have about 80% worth of stuff to catch up and I'd be fuming if I lost it!!!



Maybe after Half Term when I've got rid of some!!

can u reach your dish to clear it?

firstly... yes it will, as i successfully removed the snow from my dish which was causing the interference as it had built up on it and the signal was back to full strength. secondly...granted i wouldn't advise anyone to climb on there roof (which in theory i didn't) my sky dish is located directly below a bedroom window to which i jumped to the conclusion that everyone's may be easily accessible to some degree and i decided to use a quicker method of lukewarm water poured over it instead of using hutchies method of a hairdryer which i may try next time.

Had the same problem all night too, also the free view box which hubby watches in the kitchen will not work either. Tried again at 9pm and at last i have got the signal back so can now watch something decent on telly. Know the weather is to blame just hope it does not affect tomorrow nights match, cant wait for the new season to start.
