We're truly awful with ball in hand. Stand too deep, slow, inaccurate passing and we end up further back than we started. No enthusiasm, diabolical kick chase and the continuance of our lack of decoy runners and no support play. We've regressed back to where we were a couple of months ago

Ellis as always was tough as teak in defence and slightly limited in attack. Pryce had one of his (many) keep out of the way games. Paea, flat track bully. Mark Minichiello I presume played with an injury when he shouldn't have.



Westerman.....what a shocker. I honestly believe the best thing that could happen to him is to go back to Cas under Daryl Powell.



Most of all though, for all the effort and the go forward, the lack of genuine quality in the back line is crippling for you. Hull attack for ages and never look like getting anything, Leeds attack for one set and it's panic stations.



The difference can be summed up in one word and it isn't coaching....it's quality.

Michaels may have had a good game in defence but is another who offers little going forward

Talanoa. Better in centre, wasted on the wing



Naughton, has pace but a bit lightweight still lots of potential



Lineham, like you said, our only strike player and he has been sold off





Who we bring in will be crucial, we need to brick poop houses in the centres

I do think this has been a good yardstick for us.



Big game. Leeds declared by many to be past their best. Home advantage, and material injury advantage. Good crowd, buoyed up.



The reality is that we played with more visible energy and intensity than them, some cracking efforts in defence. But in every other area they did a comprehensive job on us. Played the conditions better, more structure in attack, threats across the back line, control of the ball. Sure we had chances, but Leeds weren't pressured at any point in the game. They still have the likes of Cuthbertson, Briscoe, McGuire to return. Really sobering game.
