If and knows its a big if Carvell is back for thursday would it be worth using Thompson at centre in place of Crooks after all he was signed as a second row/utility back

That's a good idea. Ablett at Leeds is a good example of this. Plenty of go forward and strong in defence. |

I think the lad just needs a pat on the back and his confidence boosting not been slated by his coach same with miller and Rankin when both of them scored they was over the moon and really hyped up and then Radders goes and point the fingure at them for one or two back kicks I'd go with Horne and Thomson as on Thursday try something different

I think it's easy to forget how young he still is, and last year whilst he played really well I think he was bigged up too much by sky etc, because he's far from the finished product.
He's got bags of talent but he always seems a little mentally fragile imo, whereas you look at Tom Lineham and I don't think anything at all would phase him. I think he will feel a lot more comfortable having Lineham back too.

I think the lad is a good attacking centre but if he wants to play super league he has to defend better and make far fewer defensive errors. Anything else is flannel in my opinion and making excuses for players is a big reason why we never get any better. His progress in the future is entirely in his hands and I seriously hope he makes it but he has to be much better when his team don't have the ball.

Can't see it being a confidence issue or he wouldn't be kicking goals from the touchline. Is he OOC this season? Maybe we have changed our defensive structures and he's taking time to adjust

Harsh IMO, Arundel was much worst dropping a few bombs and costing us two try's and there has been anywhere as much criticism. At least offers a great attacking threat and is kicking really well. I'd have Ellis on his side next week.
