The Rarnerse set up similar supporters clubs over in Leeds not too long ago (membership is free).
I think back in the day before every family had a car, these clubs were quite popular in Leeds (from what I'm told), enabling fans to travel to each home & away game cheaply.

It's basically helping out the out of town fans by bringing them together to pool their travel costs etc. If they're run like the Leeds one are, then membership will be free and these supporters clubs will be run by someone locally, who then stays in contact with the club.
They're not getting anything extra than the fans who live in Hull, just that little bit more effort being made by the club to engage with them, and hopefully get more of them coming to the KC. |
