He could get a job and play A grade in the local leagues (think lower than West Hull's division) and get 50k sterling a year.

If his rent and bills are taken care of, it is equivalent to 20k sterling and he can concentrate on progressing as a player it might be attractive though. Is it easier for our relatively inexperienced players to get visas to play there than vice versa? Or does it only work if they take a 'real' job as well.
