I for one don't like some of his acts, however I really believe he could turn out to be the Best British player to have played. He has got everything and expect something to happen everytime he has the ball. You can't help but respect the guy

It'll get locked but he is superb. We need more blokes like him to help fill grounds as he worth the admission price alone. Tonight though everyone was great. Even Ben Westwood!

Thought he tried to do too much in the first half, but he is an exceptional talent.

Fantastic player, no-one can deny him of that. One of those players that you simply don't know what he will do next.

Sam has gone from boy to man in this tournament and proved he can play at International level an area he previously failed at....Credit where credit is due, well done Sam

He's a great player with ball in hand but one thing I have noticed is when England are defending their line, he doesn't get in position or evens gets in position when a grubber for example has been put through. This seems to be one of his downfalls.



But overall he's a fantastic player, really can't stand the arrogant prat though.



Things I've heard about him when he's on nights out shows what a arrogant kid he is, if true.

In fairness I've heard plenty of stories of Hull players being arrogant s while out but you suport them playing Rugby, not as people. Tomkin's is class and I for one am estatic that RL has kept hold of him.

I personally think the last 2 games have shown that world class is now a fair discussion to have about him, the claims have genuine substance. You could see that the Aussies and Kiwis both feared him and paid specific attention, yet he still looked England's most dangerous player.



Whilst for now he's been kept out of the clutches of Union it will be interesting to see if the same can be done with the NRL, as I think a few clubs will have sat up to take notice now.

It's a good job the new salary cap agreement has been made, after this tournament I could see serious union bids for England's back three.

I would hate to lose Briscoe especially to union or another ESL team.
