That should be the aim this season - find a way to win the close games. In seasons past we've more often than not been on the wrong end of the 14-16 results and the 10-12 results.

And if Percival had kicked his conversions, Saints would have been in the Grand Final, not Cas. That's how it rolls. Had they scored, people would have been praising their confidence. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Chip paper.

Salford seemed to make far more ground in their sets of six than we did, particularly in the second half when we stood off them at each play the ball and waited for them , thus giving Salford at least ten metres each time. I witnessed this a lot last season too. I Still think we need a Topliss type creative half back who can make jinxing runs in the middle of the field and put players away.

In my humble opinion I also think we need to take advantage of going for goal when we get penalties in kickable positions. It could well have back-fired on us last night.
