it's a measure of how poor our squad is that people think losing rinaldi is a blow. truth be told he's way below average, but sadly he looks pretty good in our squad.

If true, then good for AG. Bit hyprocritical of Kear to be annoyed about it given he has been sniffing around any available job that comes up. Interesting as well that despite apparently putting his hat in the ring for numerous jobs, he hasn't actually suceeded in getting any of them (other than the Catalans one although bet they are relieved we held out for compensation now).



Clearly he isnt held in such high regard by the managers of other clubs as he is in some quarters on here

Ok you got me there Vastman. I should have said IMO, which is based on the fact that with his contract running out at the end of this season and the financial position we were in previously, we would probably have let him leave with little or no compensation.

I think Kear is very highly rated in the game and was highly rated on here for many years. His time may have come at BV but he won't struggle to find another club IMO.

Persoanlly I think he will be the London clubs next coach.

When did i say we were the biggest club in the country? If you put your specs on and read my previous post properly i commented that Wigan were possibly 'the biggest club in the world of RL'.



Leeds,despite getting bigger crowds have won less trophies than Saints and Hull FC don't come close in the silverware stakes either. In fact Hull's gates weren't much different to ours til they got their new stadium.

I doubt there is many in RL who would agree with you that we ain't a big club club. St Helens is one of the most famous clubs in the world Rugby League.

I don't think this thread is about St's standing in the world of RL.
