Why would forward passes be any different to the high tackles, holding down, offsides, markers being stood wherever they like?

I did credit hull, there defence was good. Our attacking options were poor through our own players fault tonight.



As I said hull won the majority of the collisions.



Forgive me for not focussing on hull fc more than my own teams performance but I am a wakefield fan after all.



That's my point the possession we had in spells was wasted through poor options and banging it up the centre field and inside balls. A true defending teams dream!

We commented tonight that you could tell who coached Wakefield one dimensional, you play exactly the way we used to play.

But that's just it, we don't play like that at all. We have been playing entertaining rugby in attack for the most part.



Wasn't evident today. Whether its the coaches tactics or players at fault it didn't work.

I'm not for one minute blaming the ref for that defeat but that was one of the most inept displays of officiating a game that I've seen for years.



Clearly mr Roby is way out of his depth in this standard of Rugby League.

A shambolic performance by WTW, topped off by Mr Roby's total inability to control the game - I want my money back.

It's more disappointing because we'd been gradually playing better and better the last couple of weeks, with the couple of wins but really didn't do ourselves justice out there at all.



The Hull side just had more about them especially in the first half, where our defense was a bit soft and they capitalised. Although Hull's defense was good, we lacked our usual attacking spark and were easily shut down.



Really missed Poore's go forward & tackling and also Mathers at the back.

The whole Wakey team where playing dirty, running into tackles with elbows raised, high tackles and going in with the knees.

Paul Aiton in particular was a disgrace, punching players on the ground and going for the head in every tackle!
