as I said I lived in Wakefield 15 years ago and the same discussions like this where going on about a new stadium and to this day still we are playing at the same broken down one! (although still the best atmosphere I have been at) surely from my perspective. you guys see where I am coming from........ I still speak to guys that support wakey who live over there (not as passionate as all you lot on here) and this is what I think the general public of wakey think - as soon as I told them about the new stadium plans at BV last month to a man they said -don't worry it wont happen! and guess what?



and by the way back then I had a family member that worked at the club so no some sort of inside details ,who has some dealings still with them.



and if you guys think I am not a wakey supporter I invite all of you to come and stay at my place in oz over next season and watch me get up of all hours of the morning to watch or listen to EVERY wakey game live! as well as all my family who I have converted!!!!!!

as another wakey fan who doesn't live in wakey anymore i'm not sure you homeowners appreciate the efforts and cost (in terms of financial, time investment and detriment to immediate family) that goes in to watching/finding out about/keeping up to date with all games and team news. We have one of the worst websites in history, regularly reading about things affecting our club for days in the national media/other forums before the website gets updated, regardless of whether it's team news, ground news or whatever other news is breaking.

get off BOJ042's back for caring & supporting us, we need more people who get up at 4am to listen to whatever live audio stream they can find to see how they're chosen team is doing - has someone who lived here for 2-3 years and loved rl he could've supported any team in the area, especially one that won regularly and played a decent brand of rugby but he chose us and has stuck by us through thick & thin....and if that isn't wake till i die i don't wanna know what is



we all have the club's best interests at heart and have different opinions on how we express that - some good, some bad & some so off the scale mad you may wonder what planet the opiner is from...but we all want the best



personally, since MC has come on board he's been great, we've gone from admin to contenders, clearing the debts and striving to make progress on a ground issue that we all think has gone on for far too long & i'm glad he's taking the stand he is now
