I hear that the debt levels at a number of clubs would make Trinity's look irrelevant but those clubs have the ability to service their debt by one means or another.



The size of debts I hear are: £8M, £5M, £4M and so on, when you think about Crusaders having £2.2M after just two years it makes the numbers I'm hearing look very believable.



Having said that, it's the ability to service your debt that is important and we can't therefore wer'e in trouble and other clubs are not........well not yet!

Those sort of debts are due to the owners of the clubs. Usually interest-free, and subordinated to the interests of other creditors. Nothing private about them - just go get the accounts of the relevant clubs from Companies House. And yes, there are clubs with debts on that scale.



Basically, a club with no sugar daddy to pour money in, underwrite its massive losses and leave whats been poured in as a loan, and that club is probably fekked as far as I can see.



Maybe your new owner will join the ranks of the sugar daddies?

Just been told that the 4th interested party isd a near neighbour of Ted's who owns a nightclub in Wakefield. Don't know if there is any truth in this but if they were successful I don't think we'd see too many redundancies for the family.

If that does happen, it'll be the beginning of the end for WTW.

You may be correct if this was the other way around and I would be lying if I said otherwise. The simple fact of the matter, is that some supporters are simply over the moon that this will happen, IF it's going to be best for your club. Maybe showing some sympathy to others who are also going to be affected, wouldn't go a miss.

as for your other point, we will all be over the moon if this comes off, on other posts i have stated that it would be a good thing if we didnt go bust for the sake of others, but it isnt my cash so i cant do owt about it.
