Turns out our original colours were blue and black so it's not even commemorating that. It's not gone down all that well on social media thats for sure.



Still look on the bright side if you do want one there will likely be plenty available. And it they have nailed the away shirt design they should sell like hot cakes.

It’s weird because I’ve seen a few Trin fans say it’s not nice, but fans of every other club love it.



Fwiw - I like it and it’s a smart kit, wasn’t sure at first but it’s grown on me

If we run out on Boxing day wearing that ,it should be a right laugh.

I'm a traditionalist and normally prefer the home kit to be red, white and blue, but this is a very nice kit. I like it.

I wonder if this design was selected to confuse referees to give us the 50/50 decisions believing we are Leeds because it is just not Wakefield Trinity. It’s our 150th year why did they not give a short list to all season ticket supporters to select the best.

Nice clean kit, just not what comes to mind when I think of Wakefield.

I was at the launch tonight, and the only comments I heard were positive, one or two fans would have preferred a woven badge rather than a printed one, but I’m happy and proud to wear this shirt especially for the150th anniversary of our club.

It was wakefield trinity way back when we started , that’s why we are celebrating our 150 anniversary, no red ,white or blue anywhere to be seen . Gees try to get in the spirit of the club and what they are trying to achieve here .

What has gold got to do with 150 years? It would have been better piped in black to reflect the colours then. The gold totally spoils the shirt for me

If it is commemorative, the red and blue are important, as they were the colours of the stained glass in the Trinity Church, hence the club colours.



As a generic rugby strip, looks neat enough, and would be an okay for an away shirt. Not a Wakefield shirt though, so a no from me.



We've had worse though. And Leigh will always win the award for the worst departure from tradition with their shirt.

It’s expected to be negative about anything Wakefield Trinity by some on here.
