You are literally clueless. Can guarantee if an opposition player breaks, he will charge back despite never having a prayer of winning a foot race, eg maloudi try 2 week ago, even though the game was dusted.



He's been the cornerstone of our side this year, shuffled into the halves when we've had a fair amount of injuries.



Could it not be that it just didn't work out for Macca at wakefield but he has developed immensely at Cas working with Powell since then? I know for a fact he is 1 of our most passionate players.



I really like kyle wood as a player and has improved himself to the point where he's more than an impact hooker, he's a good hooker. McShane is exceptional, effort and all.

Unfortunately you are the one that is clueless old boy, I watched him in a struggling team week in week out and he was dire, 0 effort and it showed, He just could not be bothered. I saw Scott Moore as a better option in that team, in fact if we did not make the swap some would say there would be a chance we would be in the championship right now.

I also know that McShane was injured when he came to us, so had been playing damaged for you. He didn't play for us at all in 2015 despite signing in the June.

We all know what a grub Moore is off the field however it cannot be denied by anyone who understands the game that Moore is or was the better player.



Powell spotted quickly that Moore was to much of a risk and got the deal that suited him but that doesn't alter the truth.

I can't see why this is controversial - McShane was garbage for us in large part; he clearly didn't want to be here and looked disinterested and/or frustrated most of the time. Conversely, he's been great for Cas.

Are you for real? Moore's ability has never been in doubt it's his attitude and total lack self control that is. He should have been the best 9 of his generation when at Saints but simply couldn't behave.

So again, player for player - when Moore on the occasions when he had his head screwed on was a far better hooker than McShane IMO and personally I don't have a big issue with McShane you're welcome to him, nor do I give a toss what Moores up to these days other than knowing he brought it on himself.

Moore was also selected for the Super League Dream Team at Hooker when playing for Shudds. What a waste of a talent.

McShane still has time to get international recognition. Most people who know the game (unlike you) have made a point of saying he must be hammering down the door for England.



Scott Moore couldn't do some of the things Macca can, nor did he have a brain like Macca or an ability to read the game.

Rubbish but then it's all about opinions isn't it and as ever Cas fans are over egging it as they did with Joe Westerman (remember him, greatest player of his generation).



Let me let you into a secret - Cas are a good team but that doesn't automatically make every player in it a great player.



You put McShane in against the Aussies and they would skin him alive because as noted on here he lacks ticker and then lets see how 'smart' and how 'gifted' he is compared to Moore who had way to much.

I always though Moore had talent but I didn't realise how much until he played for us and he was well past his best at that point.

He played for us twice so I think we are entitled to our views on scott Moore. As for Westerman, also capped by England! Though I'd argue he could have had a better career but liked to party too much. When bigging up a young player I was more in the Daryl Clark camp. He's not a bad player is he?



I know that not all our players are great, I think our wingers and centres aren't particularly great. But our 9 is.

Fair enough but I did know that it just wasn't relevant, that's why I said he should or could have become the best number nine of his generation. In fact I suppose logically he should have become the best no 7 which is possibly a more prestigious position.



Robey would have been a tricky one I admit whilst Cunningham came from a previous generation. What's sad is Moore never really got close other than in 2009 because he suffered from a mental illness - i.e. he was and probably still is a total wally off the pitch which few would deny.

He's great for you I wouldn't deny that, same as Woody is for us - but neither imho are actually great players.



Also I'm not convinced Clarke has exactly fulfilled his potential.

I'd have Clark over McShane at 9 all day long and had you not needed some cash (at the time), I'm pretty sure that everyone over t'common would have liked to keep hold of him instead.

Went backwards under TS but has been better this year plus he's far more of a pro than Westerman ever was. Still relatively young really at 25 and has played at Wembley 3 times and for England,



Maybe McShane didn't have heart for you, or thats how you perceived it but he certainly does for us, he's often stand out in a losing cause this season. To say he doesn't have a ticker or heart is just plain wrong. The Aussies wouldn't skin him alive either, he has that element of housary in him, he'd do alright.



I do think McShane will play for England at some point.
