I agree but think we'll end up with one player that can cover both positions. Would like to see young Goulding sign up as well and also a young outside back. Does anyone know the score with Adam Fletcher? Has he signed fulltime?

Wilkes to stay please. It would be a backward step to lose someone of his SL quality from our front row.

I like Ollie, he's a quality solid prop forward but if he goes I'd have thought we'd be bringing in someone better or at least better value for money to replace him. Like Rey said, I seem to remember the rumor at the time was that we'd paid a fair amount for both Wilkes and Ellis when they came from London, so if the Coach believes we could use his wages better else where, so be it.

No thanks and I really don't understand this obsession with Kirke. He's an average SL prop in my opinion, I think if were to sign a prop at least lets go for one better than we already have!

Seems really strange to me how players like Ellis and Wikes haven't been snapped up by other SL clubs, some teams are crying out for players like those 2.

On one of the posts it said something about Aiton retiring - was this true. Has he come back for pre-season trainings? Don't want to let him go!

Perhaps not that strange. Our new signing will be indeed announced tomorrow. I understand we won the 'bidding war' over HKR and Cas.

I don't know the fiscal situation at HKR but I do know Cas are on their botty.

Perhaps it's not too strange that if Fev have a sponsor with deeper pockets than most, the new player opts for Fev??
