Any other teams playing Sunday pre - Wakey v Wigan ? We were asked if we could play v an under 11's team from over there ! - don't think so - we've still got a couple of 8 year olds still in the team !!

Just us then for a 1.15 meet for a little bit of rugby before the main event - the thousands of dance troops !!

cas panthers u10s ended a 3 game losing run by beating whinmoor 30-6,in truth it wasnt a good game with it been stop start with what seemed like every tackle whinmoor players picking up knocks but its nice to get a win under your belt having played a lot better in the previous 3 and losing.

Stanley 10s main problem today was having so many subs , however in complete contrast to last week they ended up beating a spirited garforth side 48-0 in a game were finally some of the hard training paid off.

Lost 28-24 at Eastmoor this morning . Blew it in the last 2 minutes when they used their 1 man advantage to score in the corner twice . Missing some players so we only had 10 players to their 11 plus subs , so on a warm morning they did v. well .

Only bad note was the ref - he wasn't good , I'll leave it at that ! Think they'll be some letters , fines etc . flying about after that one .

Not that good, we had the same ref in the game before. That was the single worst display I have ever seen. 18 to 4 penalty count against us at under 11's is a total joke. The sad thing is the only people to loose out was the kids,shocking, but did not expect anything different.

are you telling us that eastmoor refused to play 10-10

that's shocking , im sure we have played 10-10 at stanley against them before

. was told today that at any level under the 12s that teams must be evenly matched in terms of numbers... get ready for the one eyed report

when we beat them they said we used bully boy tactics





the ref was he the usual one, we are there next week

Apparently they played 11 versus 9 at Whinmoor - as far as I know they're entitled to do it and it's our fault for not having the players so no grumbles about that - it's just the refereeing performance that leaves a sour taste .

done some research into this and i was right ... next year you can play upto 13 a side but only if the opposition as 13 ..its only when you get to 12s you can implement the other rule as they are competitive games. the victory is tainted for eastmoor now imho.



any way its mini rugby today 8s style we are away ... i wonder if spongebob or braytontiger can guess where. i will give you a series of clues ...
