to be fair to the guy, give him a good pre season get him fit and he will be better than most we have got. he has come over here, been thrown in at the deep end and is doing his best.most guys in his condition wouldn't have the balls to go on the pitch. looking forward to next season if we are still there and him proving a lot of people wrong by showing what he rfeally can do

Jarred Hickey will prove to be a brilliant signing IF given an off season. He's the potential, just lacking the fitness and conditioning at the moment. And to be fair, i think most fans know that and aren't doubting his commitment nor his effort.



What is under debate in reality is Kear's selection of him. He's not really helped the guy by selecting him when he isn't anywhere near being match fit. JK should have been strict with him, and made him wait until Hickey is able to show his worth. His selection has probably unsettled a couple of youngsters/fringe players and put too much pressure on fellow players to compensate for JH's limited game time and contribution. Hickey is only guilty of wanting to play, which imo you can't knock and with as stated after a preseason he'll show his worth.

Not sure you could justify the selection of King either after the Hull game.
