On his day Broughy has the best kicking game in the league but been pants of late and I don't think Martin offers much from his kicks.

I agree with that Adam. I wouldn't want long for the goal kicks as I think we have better options don't rate longs goalkicks anymore. He would offer us a lot in attack and defence people underestimate Longs tackling he is very good in defence you know.

No I don't know mate I just thought that was his plan before he joined us here I thought he said 2 years then he would retire, but he may have changed his mind.

Don't expect any big bucks signings for next season, we will be down sizing so unless he's prepared to come for less than what some of our better paid players are on now it's a non starter.

aslong as we get the gound sorted we can go from there the club will be big again. The spades need to be at work by next season.

It will be good to get the ground, but don't be under the illusion that it will solve our money problems. There is an apathy among the people of Wakefield that a new ground is not going to overcome, too much is too much whether you are sat in a shiny new seat under cover or stood on the terraces gettting p!!ss wet through, and as far as the majority of the Wakefield public are concerned £18 is too much.

I agree but I bet the first game in our new ground would be a sell out no matter who it was against and new interests around the City of Wakefield shall be made from a new ground. It won't get rid of money trouble but its a massive step in the right direction for Wakefield Trinist becoming great again thats for sure!

sorry but i do not agree with broughy's kicking..he is fantastic from the correct side of goal for a left footer (right side) but his kicking last season as well from the wrong side is poor... look at the time a decent kicker takes, to me danny b isn't a quality goal kicker... tony martin and danny b should both kick but from their preferred side. also long's wages could be offset from the 83k that scully is on..know who i would prefer !
