Im sure there are better judges of players than me, so can anyone explain how aside from coming from RA's previous club, Reece Lynne got/gets the chances he had and Danny didnt??

Completely agree with this.

I'm not suggesting that DC is any better than RL, just that RL has shown himself to be at best average and yet DC has had few opportunities to prove himself.

I think we are continuing to miss a trick and in light of squad cost saving efforts going on presently, maybe two tricks??

I believe Molloy got more games to show what he can do (not minutes) than Cowling.

Reap what you sow with Mr Agar. Molloy got his chance when he was miles short. Yet Cowling won us the game against Sts 2 years ago a kid thrown in a game we needed to win. He was fantastic up against World class opponents. Now he is on his way to Halifax we should of gave him more chances. Such a shame. Looked very promising.

did I read somewhere that it was to do with the fact he is going to Uni and will effectively be part time? or is that someone else?



Shame he isn't staying and playing in the centre for us but sometimes there's more to these things and a full-time career in RL may not be all its cracked up to be.

How was the weather in Italy?

Surely these young promising players are the ones we should be signing up not letting go?!?

At the risk of muck raking, wasn't Cowling offered substantially more to go to Fax, than we were prepared to offer.

I fully agree with trying to retain our own, indeed, it's critical that we keep on producing our own young players and it does make you wonder how Fax can offer a young player more that an established SL team (even if we are currently skint)

Credit where credit is due the reduction in the playing staff is one thing the board are good at. I don't know when they will reach the bottom I doubt they have finished yet. The problem we face is where are the new players coming from, the World Cup apparently. The problem there is if Halifax and Featherstone are willing to pay higher salaries than us what standard of player are we left with.

We also have the problem that it is unlikely that the team will be finalised for the start of the season and we know what problems that can cause.

We are not skint, £300,000 is not skint but if people keep saying we are then it will be perceived as such and will impact on the quality of player who are willing to sign for us.

300000 is not skint! Jesus it beggars belief. You fancy putting that in, if in your mind, it's nothing???

The reduction of the playing staff is a result of the previous overspend.

Not this boards fault. They are working hard for a solution, but with 'glass pretty much empty' attitude, not doing a lot of good.

If the £300,000 is due to overspend. The last couple of months have been spent wheeling and dealing, hopefully until some of the larger senior contracts expire and they move to their new clubs.

I may well be miles off the mark with this statement but it keeps my pecker up!
