You are talking to the converted who will be happy to know that the club will survive regardless. It is however those who turned up maybe because of the cheap tickets that you have to convince to purchase at full price. The majority are probably relatively new to the game or returning after a spell away. These are the ones you need to work on a strategy to renew. If you think that's what you are doing I say good luck.

Not for one minute do I say I'm right. But you still fail to provide a solution? Your asking me to put the cart before the horse and speculate on new signings knowing I don't have the money to back it up! Exactly what's just gone wrong! What is the solution?

As far as us supporters are concerned the solution is simple; [uthere isn't a choice[/u back the club or be as much to blame for its demise (short term or long term) as those you blame for your reluctance to back the club.

Vicious circle, catch 22, rock and hard place etc...

The choice to help right the ship is everyones.

If you want a bit of advice I would suggest you may want to temper some statements that could be seen to further destabilise the club. I would think the vast majority know where we are so no need for everyone to keep reiterating the worse case scenario. I doubt anyone would expect signings at this time but to keep suggesting that any player is available at the right price does no good. I hope you don't think that when they say on here that they would be happy to see the loss of our star players for the greater good, this will not last beyond the first defeat. The forum does not appear to work like that, as a player you are only as good as your last game one bad performance and the posts appeared asking that they are sent to Doncaster.

So by tempering some statements, you don't actually want the truth?

You can give too much information which is not a good thing when running a business even one like Wakefield Trinity. You are not being asked to lie, but not be quite so forthright by only highlighting the negatives. Why don't you say we have sold X number of season tickets or have X number of members in the weekly draw. Give people some incentive that we are at least making some positive strides towards the target set.

Any player at any club is available at the right price make any club the right offer and the crown jewel of a player would be sold.Lets face facts in our position with money tight its more so that the right offer would be taken for any player.To survive as a club we need to move forward and if that means selling a couple of players so be it and yes it wont be good for ticket sales etc but thats where we are at this moment in time.

MC stated on Monday that if fans back the club and buy season tickets (at least 3000) then we don't have to sell players. I'd agree that letting people know that we are getting closer helps generate momentum, however (and I don't know how many we have sold) if the announcement is that since the rallying call we've sold 10 more Season tickets, that doesn't help anybody.



By now everyone on here knows the score, we just need to pass the message onto those who weren't at the meetin or don't frequent message boards etc. Buying your tickets is the only way to guarantee you'll have those players in your team come February. Sugar coating it doesn't help. It's a FACT!



Season ticket sales are the only thing that is going to help us retain our players! (unless someone wins the Euromillions!)
