| John Kear has being a fantastic coach and club man for the last 5 years do not judge him on the last 18 months he and the club have being to hell and back in that time.
I will never forget the 6 game run in in 2006 we had no chance but against all the odds we beat Cas twice Bradford away and Catalan and were so unlucky not to beat Leeds I dont think ANY other coach could have saved us that season and without that I doubt that we would be in SL today.
The time is right to move on and I for one am pleased with how the club as dealt with this JK goes with my best wishers and I will always make him welcome at home games in years to come.
Hope we dont go for Agar,Millward,Harris,Poching etc for me Brian Noble could do a job or a long shot Andy Kelly other than that we look to Oz.

| Thanks for EVERYTHING Mr Kear, and good luck in the future. You really have done an excellent job, but now is the time to move on. Hopefully Brian Noble or an Australian assistant, will get the job, and continue taking us forward. We need to make an appointment fairly quickly, so that we can begin recruiting new players for next season, and begin re-signing some of our current squad.

Glad he's gone though, love his comments that he kept us up and the credible semi-final. The relegation battle we strongly relied on other sides and the run to the semi was easy and we didn't have the confidence once we got there due to a poor coach.
Bring on Poching and JD!!!'"
Rubbish on every point fella as for the last one JD or Poching wake up leave JD at Keighley to learn his trade for a good few years yet

| Cheers JK, done with the respect he deserves. Not only does he deserve a medal for punching above his weight with the finances available from the old regime. Lets not forget the dignified way he led the club in the media with the loss of Adam,Leon and to some extent Toppo, Don Fox, Kenny Hirst.
I can see someone like Daryl Powell being in the frame for a return to SL duties myself and maybe JK has his eyes on Stevo's job. He's got the hairstyle
Anyway good luck to whatever he chooses.
Whilst on the subject of Leon Walker, let us not forget tomorrow the magnificent support given from the Crusaders at that dreadful time as well.

| Thanks for everything Mr Kear. The style of play might have tailed off towards the end of his tenure, but I think that has more to do with the restrictions placed on him. Considering what has happened at the club over the last five years and what we've done I think its a staggering achievement. I really hope he doesn't end up at Cas because I have so much respect for him.
Now, next step would be Noble or Powell for me
Don't want an NRL coach and end up using Wigan's tactics

Far be it from me to rob NGB4C of his moment but I think you will find the NRL option has been pushed by a number of people on here long before this poster latched on.
Credit where credit is due but not on this occasion.

Funny but that is exactly what I do want. I was dubious of Wigan at first and admit there are elements of their game I don't like, mainly the gamemanship! However watching them play this season they are in most games a level above everyone else and are starting to remind me of past Wigan sides.

| i will add my thanks to john kear. there is no doubt in my mind that there wasn't another coach available who would have kept us up, so for that alone we all should be grateful.
however as we all know we have been on a rollercoaster. the senior management of the club during the kear era was poor, but we battled through. kear was in charge through probably the most eventful period in any club history. the untimely and greatly saddening losses of adam, leon and terry were all handled well by the man in charge of our team, and there are not many coaches who i would have the confidence in to get through that.
but, this year especially, our tactics have become easily read and quite boring to watch. we are making the same mistakes again and again (especially in our fringe defense) and nothing is getting sorted.
a change of coach will be good for both parties, but we will struggle against cas now!!!
