I think Sykes coming in would give us that kicker plus on the initial showing could push Mellars possibly out of the team. I know some are not keen but i think a ex international back cant be that bad even now.

Morton was round town last night... 
Fox didnt get the ball in hand once. Did some hard work getting metre's.
Mellars thought he was decent but cant catch and cant make a break? |

We cant play players just because they can kick. They need to be the best player. Agar did not get in a goal kicker and we are paying the price unfortunately. Need to score more tries  . |

Gives us our forward, and our goal kicker.

Im sorry but has nobody been watching the U 20's in the past 2 home games?? we have an excellent goalkicker in grayston, and the lad really is looking sharper every time he plays at fullback. im sure he could play in the centres instead of mellars and he would show a lot more effort! kieran Hyde can also kick goals, i think hes still training down at the club.

Hyde has gone to Doncaster. Could put Grayston at Wing and Cockayne who is a utility back at centre where he may be even more effective (probably the best signing). Cheap fix and worth a go also R.A. could show WTW that he is giving youth a chance?  |

Paul Sykes then, the current centres are not exactly firing and he will be worth 6-8 points alone per game, although I would be delighted if it was the goal kicking that cost Trinity the match next Sunday. |
