| Even if not been playing well. We have a habit of getting a bit more out of forwards

| I think the question about Hasson is whether he signed up at Salford for longer than this season?
As by the reports, at the time, Salford were having forward issues.
If those forwards came back to fitness quicker than expected, then Hasson's transition may not be as smooth as expected?
Is he now playing for a contract?

| I'll trust CC's judgement. He's not let me down so far.

The difference here though is that MCB and BJB were good players and most Salford fans said as such when they moved on. Hasson is not great, especially for taking up a non-fed spot. He isn't terrible, just very average. He'll tackle and run the ball, but wont make many post contact metres and wont break the line much, which is fine if that's the type of player your after. To me, if you want to try and bring on an average joe player you might as well stick a young lad in and let him get experience rather than have a bang average Aussie based player fill up the role and the quota spot.
Hat's off if CC can get anything out of him, just don't hold your breath.

I'm pretty sure our coach will know exactly what he's got, as things stand he probably won't get in the side anyway but we have one prop out injured and another struggling with a heel problem, maybe he'll get a chance to show what he's capable of, atm he is here till the end of the season so he's not really a gamble but the opportunity's there for him, you never know Chester might be able to do with him what your club could not, surely you'll agree with that with Jones Bishop, Caton Brown, and Ashurst being far better players since joining us from Salford.

I've watched him in the NRL when he got a game to. Same kind of story. I'm not in the wrong job, it's just fairly obvious.

I agree with you regarding CC. It isn't a gamble, it's an opportunity for him. By the looks of it you have picked him up for the same reasons that we did. I disagree with you regarding the other ex-Salford players. They were all very good for us in their time with us. I'd say you've got more out of Ashurst than we did, so fair play, but he was solid for us in his time. MCB and BJB were both very good for us as they are for you. The difference now is that they are playing in a top four club (How nice is it to hear that about Wakey eh? ) rather than a bottom of the table side that Salford were when we had them.
Anyway, good luck to him and yourselves. Great to see the unfashionable clubs of Salford and Wakey in the top four. Long may it continue.

| I really hope James Hasson reads this thread...hope he gets a run out against St.Helens if there are injuries to England & Huby.
He has a contract to play for aswell as a place in the Ireland squad for the 2017 World Cup down under......
