I'm always skeptical of negative 1st posts from week old accounts.

Hey, we all gotta start somewhere but in my experience 99% of these accounts are made to do one thing and one thing only.

Happy to be proved wrong though...

If I remember rightly we were alleged to have Josh Wood signed up from Salford which would make sense if we are letting Randell go back to Aus.



Also Pitts has definitely signed. He will be a good addition and is a real work horse and team player. A good replacement for Kirmond.

I'd like to see the bulk of any available money go on a top quality half back. I know we have Brough and Miller signed up for next year but we have no other option for half and we can't rely on both to be injury free and in form. Although, Connor Bailey has looked like he might be on the cusp of being able to step in the first team this season as back up.

Not sure it needs to be a half back, a creative no 9 would be just as good though we’d have to change our style. We’d need to support the ball carrier far more than we do for a 9 to prosper, a real weakness in our game imo. However if we did so we’d be less dependant on getting it out to the flanks and thus be varied in attack and leaving Brough less exposed. Easier said than done.



Shame with Randall, had he been less injury prone I think he could have developed that role.

Shame as you say if so and hooker is number 1 priority then because no way should Wood do 80 minutes every week, he'll end up killing himself

His 2 tries friday night probably kept us in super league , The kid is like a stick of rock he's got wakefield running straight through him and when you look back on the money we wasted this year on a big lump of lard in pauli pauli surely his contract demands must be justified.
