| I'll never forget what he did for us and I'll be forever grateful but its time for a change. Best of luck John and you go with my best wishes.
I'm afraid I think we need to look to the NRL for a young hungry coach along the lines of Steve Georgalis.

| That was quick, Lol, I was only joking Vasty!!!
Glad he's gone though, love his comments that he kept us up and the credible semi-final. The relegation battle we strongly relied on other sides and the run to the semi was easy and we didn't have the confidence once we got there due to a poor coach.
Bring on Poching and JD!!!

Not yet he isn't, I'm going nowhere
Best of luck to JK as has been said that's a fairly dignified exit - not sacked is more than most coaches manage.
Although Kears staying until the end of the season I'd like to see him take a back seat and let Tony have a go - can't hurt.
Thanks for the last 5 years John.

The club, JK and most fans have shown some dignity is there any hope you can mange the same - it's a massive ask Iknow.
Your attempt to re-write the history of 2006 is especially pathetic by the way and I mean PATHETIC.

| Thanks J.K, without you, god knows where we would be now.
I hope he gets the Cas job, he’s a Cas lad & he would be a proud as punch to be at the helm.
A replacement, Hmmm, the gulf between SL & NRL is huge, so, I would prefer an Aussie, however, with a couple of exceptions, they’re just waiting to get a main gig back in Aus.
Que Sera, Sera.

Don't talk wet.
This is exactly the way I'd hoped it would go - a dignified and mutually agreeable parting of ways, with (hopefully) no hard feelings on either side. Good luck at Cas JK - thanks for everything.
The next part of the jigsaw absolutely must be to recruit a coach from the NRL - Agar would be a disaster, as would Noble, Powell or any of LA's stupid suggestions.
If AG pulls this off, he'll demonstrate to the RL coomunity that WTW are once again a club with ambition and confidence.

I'm sure you'll be the first slating him when he takes the Cas job and they beat us with the most boring tactics imaginable, unless that is - I mange to bag him first

| I think at first he was a good coach and did a really good job with us probably better than any previous coach in last ten years before he signed with us. I think now though he should be leaving as his coaching of us become the same and repetitive e.g. 5 drives and a kick. If anyone has noticed like me apart from this season we did well at the start of the season and then that performance seemed to die away once we got to around the mid point of the season.

| John Kear has being a fantastic coach and club man for the last 5 years do not judge him on the last 18 months he and the club have being to hell and back in that time.
I will never forget the 6 game run in in 2006 we had no chance but against all the odds we beat Cas twice Bradford away and Catalan and were so unlucky not to beat Leeds I dont think ANY other coach could have saved us that season and without that I doubt that we would be in SL today.
The time is right to move on and I for one am pleased with how the club as dealt with this JK goes with my best wishers and I will always make him welcome at home games in years to come.
Hope we dont go for Agar,Millward,Harris,Poching etc for me Brian Noble could do a job or a long shot Andy Kelly other than that we look to Oz.

| Thanks for EVERYTHING Mr Kear, and good luck in the future. You really have done an excellent job, but now is the time to move on. Hopefully Brian Noble or an Australian assistant, will get the job, and continue taking us forward. We need to make an appointment fairly quickly, so that we can begin recruiting new players for next season, and begin re-signing some of our current squad.
