It does have a bar yes, I took a team to play there v North Derbyshire Chargers in the Merit League (didnt play on the main pitch). Yeah, no dugouts, no turnstyles - impressive for Merit League standard, and possibly even NCL standard, but no higher I would have said. |

I don't see a problem with it but didn't like the town fan having a pop at Rugby league teams even if they are not even my own.

And Towns gates aren't that much higher these days.....they may announce crowds 'much' higher but thats becasue they count season tickets in every crowd regardless of whether there actually at the game !'"

The RFL used the McAlpine card as unilateral reasoning and dragged the rest of us into the scenario! Henceforth the "Stadium" is the most important issue as far as the RFL is concerned.

Very true. Don't blame Hudds for that, definitely an RFL obsession. Similar to expansion, London set the template on how not to do it, and it's been the template followed ever since. |

Damn right man. Build a team around a stadium and then do everything possible to keep them in the top flight.
If it all goes wrong, merge with a National league team and then sing to the world how good you are. |
